On y trouve l&rsquo;un des plus vieux oliviers du monde, plant\u00e9 il y a plus de 2 000 ans dans la plaine de Jorf, \u00e0 quelques kilom\u00e8tres de la ville.<\/p>\n  <p>Les oliveraies s&rsquo;\u00e9tendent sur des milliers d&rsquo;hectares. La r\u00e9colte, pratiqu\u00e9e \u00e0 la main chaque automne, est un temps fort de la vie sociale zarzisienne. Des familles enti\u00e8res se r\u00e9unissent pour cueillir les olives au son de la musique traditionnelle.<\/p>\n  <p>L&rsquo;huile produite, extra vierge, d&rsquo;un vert dor\u00e9 lumineux, est export\u00e9e en Europe et dans tout le Maghreb.
